We love bringing people together, celebrating each person’s unique story, and making space for every kind of imagination, background and identity. Whoever you are and wherever you come from, you’re welcome here. Our mission is simple: keep art welcoming, sustainable, by giving new life to materials and sharing them with our community at affordable prices.​

Why Volunteer

Volunteers make everything we do possible—from rescuing quality materials from the waste stream to helping folks find affordable supplies and attending pop up events. When you volunteer, you:

• Support sustainability and keep usable materials out of the landfill

• Make art accessible and affordable in The NC Triad

• Build community in a welcoming, creative space

How to Get Started

1. Fill out our Volunteer Interest Form.

2. Schedule your New Volunteer Training Shift on Hands On (our volunteer mgmt platform). During this first shift, we’ll give you a short orientation and your volunteer welcome packet. This will help you get to know our space, ask questions, and feel prepared for future shifts. ​

What You’ll Do

Depending on your interests and our current needs, you might:

• Help receive, sort, and price donated art materials

• Restock and tidy the retail floor

• Assist with outreach and events

No experience required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
