Why Volunteer

Volunteers make everything we do possible—from rescuing quality materials from the waste stream to helping folks find affordable supplies and attending pop up events. When you volunteer, you:

• Support sustainability and keep usable materials out of the landfill

• Make art accessible and affordable in The NC Triad

• Build community in a welcoming, creative space

How to Get Started

1.Schedule your New Volunteer Training Shift on Hands On (our volunteer mgmt platform). During this first shift, we’ll give you a lay of the land and your volunteer welcome packet.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your interests and our current needs, you might:

• Help receive, sort, and price donated art materials

• Restock and tidy the retail floor

• Assist with outreach and events

No experience required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
