Every day at Art Shac, we see how something unwanted can become something wonderful. Piles of donated supplies — paint, fabric, beads, paper — arrive at our door, and with a little sorting and a lot of love, they find their way into the hands of artists, makers, and dreamers across our community.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: provide affordable and accessible art materials to our community while reducing waste. We take in donations from neighbors, artists, and businesses, diverting them from the landfill and giving them a second life. These rescued supplies then find their way into new hands — in our shop, where most items are under $5, and in our affordable classes, where everyone can explore their creativity without financial barriers.

To date, we’ve diverted over 19 tons of art supplies and materials from the landfill — transforming what could have been trash into tools for imagination and expression.
